Zdeno Chara’s First Goal Of Season Boosts Bruins’ Lead Over Avalanche

The Bruins’ captain officially has himself on the scoreboard in the 2019-20 NHL season.

Zdeno Chara slapped in Boston’s second goal of the game in the first period of Thursday against the Colorado Avalanche. The 42-year-old defenseman scored just five goals last season, so it’s encouraging to see Chara find the back of the net this early into the campaign.
