BOSTON — Well, that didn’t take long.
With just over 13 minutes elapsed in Saturday’s Boston Bruins-Montreal Canadiens matchup, Bruins center Gregory Campbell and Habs winger Dale Weise decided to drop the gloves and do a bit of scrapping.
The result was a spirited bout, and it was not at all surprising that Weise, whom Bruins fans not-so-fondly remember from the teams’ playoff series last season, was one of the parties involved.
The fight came with Montreal leading 1-0 after defenseman Andrei Markov opened the scoring with a power-play goal.
