David Ross advances to final round of ‘Dancing with the Stars’

The dream continues for David Ross. Six months after capturing a World Series championship with the Cubs, the retired catcher is in the “Dancing with the Stars” finals.

Ross and partner Lindsay Arnold performed a foxtrot to “You Make Me Feel So Young” during Monday night’s episode. The judges obviously were impressed, rewarding the duo with a score of 34 out of 40.

Team “Lady and the Gramp” then earned a 36 from the judges for the tango routine to Ed Sheeran’s “Castle on the Hill.”

Afterward, Ross summed up his reaction in a one-word tweet:

Ross and Arnold will compete with two other teams in the two-night finale of the show next week.
