David Price Injury: Red Sox Pitcher Leaves Game After Third With Wrist Injury

David Price’s night did not end the way he wanted it to.

After having seven consecutive solid outings, the Boston Red Sox left-hander was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Miami Marlins after he took a line drive off his wrist.

The southpaw still managed to make the out at first and was seen looking at his wrist as he walked into the Red Sox dugout after the third inning came to a close.

Hector Velazquez came in for the fourth after Price went three innings giving up three runs (all earned) and as many strikeouts.
