Chandler Jones, Eli Manning, Torrey Smith React To Tom Brady Suspension

Tom Brady has been suspended four games by the NFL for conduct detrimental to the integrity of the league. As has been the case throughout this entire process, everyone has an opinion, most scattered across both sides of the fence.

The team has also issued a strong statement in support of Brady.

Here are a few of the immediate reactions. We’ll update this as more comes out, so be sure to check back for more. And, be warned: some reactions may be NSFW.

Here’s the team’s running back, who will also be suspended for the season opener against Pittsburgh.

Brandon Browner, now with the Saints, tweeted this in support of Brady on Friday.

Man hold your head Tom, you are a great person, and better professional. #TB12 #TBE

Say what you will about Eli Manning, but even the New York Giants quarterback supports Tom Brady.

Eli: “If someone’s breaking the rules I understand you’re gonna get punished for it.”

More Eli on Brady: “In no way am I glad to see this happen.”

Former Baltimore Raven Torrey Smith seems surprised, which is shocking in its own right given his previous stances on the issue.

Some players support the suspension, like Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson.

Well done @NFL ……….#DeflateGate

If you missed it, Brady returns against the Indianapolis Colts — the very team that accused Brady of this in the first place.

October 18th will be quite a day here in Indy

And, of course, Donald Trump, who actually had maybe the best response of all.

They had no definitive proof against Tom Brady or #patriots. If Hillary doesn’t have to produce Emails, why should Tom? Very unfair!
